Join to Promote Castings to
Transportation Industries
The AFS Marketing Division, Diecasting Development Council (DDC)
and Ductile Iron Marketing Group (DIMG) joined together for a "Metalcasting:
Giving Form to Innovation" exhibit at the 2003 Society of Automotive
Engineers (SAE) World Congress & Expo in March. The 400-sq-ft
exhibit featured a display of award-winning transportation castings as
well as the distribution of Engineered Casting Solutions magazines and
other materials for engineers and purchasers. The AFS Technical
Dept. also coordinated a 23-paper metalcasting track as part of the SAE
Congress.
