The Globe Metales affiliate in Argentina produces nodularizers for the European market as well as calcium silicon and cored wire products for the steel and nodular iron industries world wide.  Globe Specialty Metals is also moving into the hi-tech solar grade silicon industry through its acquisition of Solsil.
